1.22.2008 - Representatives from East Central Electric Cooperative were at the town meeting on Tuesday January 22, 2008 to present a $2000.00 check toward the completion of the Winchester Fire Station. It is a part of the ECEC Round-up program that collects pennies on each electric bill of each participant by rounding their bill up to the next round dollar. Donations are made to applicants to the program.
12.15.2007 - Bids for the electrical, insulation and sheetrocking are being sought for the fire station.
